The rope for the Belfort stove is a specific specialist rope. Please Note: The rope provided by Franco Belge is now self adhesive backed and is no longer stuck in with heat resistant glue.

Installation Instructions:

Installing the Franco Belge Belfort door rope seal is extremely easy and can be completed in around 5-10 minutes.

• Remove old rope seal and clean the cast freeing it of any dirt or old adhesive from the casting.

• Carefully tear the self adhesive backing on an angle to avoid pulling the adhesive backing off.

• Carefully apply the rope to the cast edge gently pressing the rope as you go until you have a complete loop around the inner cast
