The Replacement Baffle/Throat Plate For Charnwood Island 2 is a high quality steel plate that sits at the roof of the stove and provides protection to the roof of the stove to avoid damage to the flue.  The Island 2 baffle plate slows down the flames within the stove to ensure more heat stays within the fire box before any heat travels up the chimney and ensures high efficiency.
Its important to check your baffle for damage as using a stove with a faulty baffle can cause damage to the stove.
